a specific solution for urinary incontinence

Proven in the long term

A long-term follow-up survey of the previous study was conducted with vets and owners. All dogs had been on Propalin for between 6 months and 3 years. The results were as follows:

• 92% of dogs were considered to be well controlled

• 95% of owners stated that Propalin was easy to administer

• 100% of owners expressed satisfaction with the product

• 97% of dogs had no reported adverse effects

• 86% of owners were maintaining their dogs on less than the initial recommended dose

Proven safety

PPA has been proven to be well tolerated in the dog, as illustrated in the placebo controlled study above, where no statistically significant difference was found in the adverse effects between the Propalin and placebo groups.
Additionally, a toxicity study of 13 dogs orally administered PPA at 5 x the recommended dose for 13 weeks concluded that PPA did not induce treatment-related effects in the dogs for any of the parameters measured (including haematological, serum clinical chemistry and urinary parameters).
